Friday, May 21, 2021 - Two to three hour decant in wide base decanter. Minimal sediment. Dark ruby to the edge of a Zalto Bordeaux glass where it displays a thin meniscus. Has a significant oak component on the nose but still retains a ton of complex red fruit dominate flavors along with balancing acidity. Nice palate weight and great intensity without being heavy. Long finish. This is really a terrific example of "old school" Napa cab and has plenty of life left for well stored bottles. Best paired with full flavored beef. 94-95 pts.
