Thursday, July 4, 2013 - Deep ruby core, fading to slightly brickish rim. Melange of red and dark fruit, rose, hint of meat and cedar on the nose. On the palate, medium plus acidity, powdery tannins, long finish with dark chocolate note. Medium bodied. Well-balanced and posed. Tasted side by side with Haut-Brion 2007, this is lighter style than the latter. The blend is 43%, 48% and 9% of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and and Cabernet Franc respectively.
