Friday, May 12, 2023 - Delightful mature bdx. Shows a hint of barnyard upon opening. Otherwise mature tertiary cedar fruit with hint of eucalyptus. Quite vibrant and full in the mouth--but lacking the density and complexity of the '90 Montrose. Lengthy finish with a little leather and tobacco notes, along with smoke and cedar. Have to think this at peak as the tannins are nearly resolved. Not going off a cliff anytime soon though.
