Friday, May 12, 2023 - Same bottle as Nutty08. This was delightful. A little volatility right when opened but the nose was aromatic and on display over several hours in the decanter. This showed a little lighter in body next to the 90 Montrose. It was also more charming and red fruited, with light coffee and tertiary notes. Acidity was high. Fully resolved in terms of tannic structure. Clearly a wine at its apex.
