Friday, June 25, 2010 - Misc Bordeaux 1990 tasting - Martin: A strange nose with sea water, blood and black currant but also some milk chocolate. Also some sherry and quince.
A very smooth palate with mostly black currant leaves. Quite an elegant wine with an okay acidity but a short aftertaste. Ends quite dry.
Definitely a mature wine also showing smokey meat and dirt.
Not bad but the short aftertaste draws it down.
