Friday, June 28, 2013 - Bordeaux 1990 (semi blind) (Amsterdam Wijn Antiquariaat): Very fine, mature, CLASSIC Bordeaux - great bottle. Fresh cherries, stone, IRON and more secondary tones in the nose. Medium to full-bodied palate with fresh dark fruits, leather, minerals, good acidity and soft tannins, long lingering on. VERY elegant and excellent delineation. No hurry to drink. Why is Calon Segur so often underestimated?
