Thursday, November 12, 2020 - During a blind tasting dinner. Fantastic nose here with cherry, funky farmyard, forest floor. Fully tertiary in character and typical from aged Bordeaux of high quality. Elegant, long finish. This was very popular at the table and shows that Calon Segur has terrific terroir if they pull it together. Looks like they did in the warm 1990 vintage which suits St.Estephe.
