85 Points

Thursday, November 27, 2008 - Drank this with Thanksgiving dinner. Pale yellow in the glass with a nose of stone fruit and citrus. I picked up peach and lemon in particular. This wine was unusual for me in that the notes I got on the nose carried through on the palate and the finish. This had a nice mouthfeel, and I think the lemon featured more prominently on the palate than the peach. Both were present on the finish, which was short. This compares favorably to the Indian Wells and Cold Creek Rieslings. I don't think the flavor intensity is at the same level, which is why I gave this an 85. Still, and $7.50 I think this is a great deal, and represents a nice QPR.
