Sunday, September 28, 2014 - After 26 years trailing the 'regular' cuvee, the extra heft and intensity given by the old vines has now shone through. Whereas the regular bottling (still a very good effort) shows some of the vintage's structure a bit too openly, the VV masks it beneath luscious dark fruits. This is still on the upswing, and will make a great, very long-lived Musigny.
