Saturday, September 24, 2011 - Big wine. Needed a solid two hour decant. Still not a ton of fruit showing - it's all hidden by massive tannins and high alcohol structure.
There's some serious earth, black olive, tar and rustic raspberries.
Still really tight, maybe closed down, maybe just disjointed on the finish. Didn't love this too much - and at $65 on some lists, probably not worth the coin.
