Wednesday, August 20, 2014 - I disagree with the first reviewer! Obviously, this is a "vin de garde." I have three more, and it is still not on its last legs. The alcohol is a bit strong, agreed, but as the tannins recede it has a deep, dark, fruit, with secondary notes and a long finish. Good with wild game, strong dishes (grilled vegetables), and still worth keeping 3-4 years.
