Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - One of the best 2002s I’ve had from Bordeaux. Still has lively structure, almost youthful for its age, and is the most interesting i’ve had of this wine from that vintage and also the most interesting of that vintage from Bordeaux I’ve had. In general, I’ve found plenty of 2002s just a little boring, but this is a step above that. 3 (out of 5), a good representation for what it is, enjoyable but not enough to make me think of backfilling.
