Saturday, March 13, 2010 - Another potential bargain, thanks to Parker's 88 score 5 years ago.
I liked it, but still a little young to enjoy maximally.
At $30 bottle locally it seems an excellent choice, especially if you have the patience to
let it mature and calm down a bit. Very fruity at present and tasty, but not smooth enough for my
palate. I think it will be appreciated at the dinner I'm going to tonight.
Probably I'll take the advice here and open it early.
I'm new to this wine, but here is a comparison. The store had another year, maybe the 2001,
at about $45 and to me they tasted about the same, only this one tastes younger, and not as smooth
so if you like this label I would give this a try.
The current internet prices on other years for this wine run from $60 to $100.
