Saturday, April 28, 2012 - A Ten Year Retrospective of Chateau Pontet Canet with Alfred Tesseron (Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Chicago): Opaque inky crimson color. Blackberry and currant aromas lead to a balanced palate dominated by dark fruit. Has a bit more depth and balance than the 2001, and maintains its weight through the finish.
