Monday, July 27, 2015 - Continues to drink extremely well at this stage of its evolution. Medium bodied with nicely integrated tannins. There's plenty of structure, but well balanced by the fruit so the tannins add character and depth rather than harsher notes. Intermixed black cherry and black raspberry upfront with chocolate and currants on the finish. Smooth now and given the structure and fruit, while it will last several more years, (no worries about immediate fading), I agree with prior tasters that this wine isn't likely to improve much more.
