Sunday, September 9, 2018 - This wine has really hit its stride. It is still a deep, dark, purple, with only the slightest suggestion of browning along the rim. The bouquet recalls crush flowers, tobacco, and a variety of pepper & spice notions. It is still sprinkling, lively wine, that combines the best of both worlds: I live in the mountains yet at the same time soft and velvety.
