Saturday, October 20, 2018 - cellared since release, perfect level, good cork if on the shorter side, colour still relatively youthful, fine classy, classic Pauillac nose, really fine on the palate with perfect balance, good bite of acid and tannin at the finish which was perfect with the lamb, cuts the inherent fattiness, excellent dinner wine but also very enjoyable alone, decanted 2 hours but probably not necessary, did not change much from opening, excellent wine making, top notch for the vintage, very enjoyable now but no rush at all, because of the balance will make old bones
