After about an hour some fruit began to emerge and filled out the palate a bit, but still was lacking fruit or interest overall. I'd say this was still possibly improving at the end of the bottle (2hr) but the overall impression left me wondering whether I should have popped it right off the truck and enjoyed it for its great fruit profile when young? I still have a vertical of 06-08 so maybe a side by side with a decant is in order...
