Saturday, July 20, 2013 - Beautiful gold color. Nose of almond, apricot, vanilla, butterscotch. The cork broke as we opened this but were able to extract it and found this gorgeous fascinating wine. Still a good amount of effervescence, only a hint of oxidation. Nutty, rich, intense and beautifully unusual (oldest champagne we've tried to date).
