Tuesday, January 26, 2016 - First of my six bottles purchased as "cellar discount" at local wine-shop.
Had been blow away by the 2000 vintage and still have 2010 in the cellar.
This 2007 certainly doesn't compare, however the vintage isn't in its favour.

Nose - not that expressive fire, burnt rubber aroma's I was hoping to find.
Still, it vaguely came through, quite passive though and it died over time ( shame ).
Taste - nicely integrated tannins, very smooth and flowing well around.
Flavour - again, missing that punch that an for example SHL07 does show.

All in all, for 30 Euro / bottle, this is a lovely Bordeaux wine, but not typical Pessac to me.
Still, to be enjoyed right now, and a couple of years left to go ( 2020-2021 ).
