Saturday, September 16, 2017 - Excellent bottle, disgorged 2006. Despite medium gold color, the champagne was amazingly fresh. Modest sigh when pulling the cork, continuous spray of extremely tiny bubbles, slight prickle on the tongue. Quite a bit of yellow fruit, apricot and pear, and no post mature notes of coffee or mushroom. Lots to love, just lacking complexity for truly great. Held up well in the glass for several hours.
