Tuesday, December 22, 2009 - Mike's wine. Opened for 30 min, then decanted for another 30. This was initially quite tight and tannic, not showing much complexity. A SuperTuscan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot, it started showing some red cherry and cranberry fruit towards the end of the bottle. Definitely not a favorite, and the damned wax capsule chipped off everywhere, ending up in the wine glasses!
