Thursday, October 10, 2013 - Popped cork 3 days after Coravin. No change. Dark red core, lighter at rim but no bricking. Cassis, cherry, moist earth, bit of VA which gives way over time to hints of mint and tobacco. Medium body, cassis and cherry follow the nose with hints of sweet aged cab, nice balance, hints of soft tannins appear at the tail end of a long finish suggesting this will hold for another 5 years or more. Excellent-outstanding.
