Monday, August 22, 2011 - Boerne Wine Club - CA Pinot Noir; 8/21/2011-8/22/2011 (Olmos Park Bistro): Served at cellar temp. This was much more together than the last bottle, but probably because it was not compared to bdx and served slightly colder. Big, sweet nose with wild berry, raspberry, currants and mocha and touch of ornage peel. Palate was smooth rich and round, with ripe fruit that added a sweetness to thier spice and pepper character. Finsihes with repeated pepper, toast and espresso. Has a rather smooth mouthfeel, with a slightly hollow bitterness that comes though when approaching room temp. Drink at cellar temp when in the mood for a "big" highly concentrated wine. Group WOTN
