Friday, May 31, 2013 - Dark yellow-gold. Explosive and sweet nose with pronounced marzipan, honey, beeswax, candied quince and candied apricot. Obvious botrytis character, reminiscent of a sweet wine. Full-bodied and dense with amazing freshness of fruit given the age and balancing acidity. Persistent aftertaste. Surprisingly versatile in its pairings given the unique character.
