Wednesday, June 17, 2020 - Wow. Richard Arrowood sold Amapola Creek recently, and his fine winemaking skills will be missed. We are not huge Cabernet Sauvignon fans but you cannot go wrong with this wine. It has none of the flaws (what we perceive as flaws) of Cab: it’s not too high in alcohol, it’s not too oaky. Instead it is drinks smoothly and pairs beautifully with a simple grilled steak. This wine probably has another ten years on it. Enjoy.
