Saturday, October 24, 2015 - Medium dark red. Beautiful nose, smoked meat, raspberry and green herbs (thyme). Delicious earthy red fruit flavours and a nice dry slightly tannic finish.

Surprisingly balanced and showing none of the ripeness I fear from this vintage.

10/25/2015 2:06:00 AM - I think you hit the nose on the 2007 VT. If you compare it to something like the Donjon, you can really see the difference in the ripeness. I am pretty keen for n both styles, so either way I'm happy.

I'm just wondering if you have been able to source any post 2007 VT locally. I've been looking, but just never see anything.

I've found other wines from 07 to be unbearable, especially the Pegau and St. Prefert Favier.

The Marquis Wine Cellar had the 11 and still has the blanc. I never buy VT. every time I have the wine I love it but always find other wines better buys.
