Friday, February 18, 2011 - Decanted about 2 1/2 hours. Explosive with rich cream and dark black fruit on the nose. Underneath was hints of tobacco and dark chocolate, plus a touch of spice. The palate was more about the dark chocolate and tobacco, with the dark black fruit in the background. Not as creamy on the palate as the nose was, but still heavily influenced by the oak.
