Monday, October 13, 2014 - Ample jammy fruit on the nose, with gentle capsicum undercurrent. A little earthy/leather on the finish. On the palate: the tannins are now supple, but still quite present, this wine could hold on a few more years but I don't see a point. It is delicious right now. It's pleasure is right up front, jammy black fruit, a little pepper and spice, flattering sweetness of fruit- almost glycerol on the palate, though this wine is undoubtedly dry.
