Thursday, July 24, 2008 - You don't see that many rosé wines coming out of Piedmont and those made from Barbera are even rarer these days and after having this one, I am left to wonder why that is the case? Color is a little darker then most French rosé and this was really quite tasty with nice acidity and texture with a dash of dark and tropical fruits on the palate. Stands on its own quite well but also goes great with a wide variety of foods and appetizers and at $15, its also a pretty good deal too.
