Sunday, August 26, 2012 - Purchased upon release and stored in a temperature controlled wine unit. Decanted an hour ahead of service. Great ruby color with no signs of browning. The nose is a bit of leather and cedar. The palate is fabulous, with the tannins and acid melded together nicely. The flavors are primarily cassis and black fruits. Very easy to drink right now. This is a medium weight Bordeaux that probably won't develop any further, but is showing no signs of decline at all. This should stay in its current state for at least five years, and then last another 5-10 after that. An excellent wine!
