The whole cluster fermentation added a nice herbal quality to balance the classic strawberry grenache profile, but as a whole it felt a little disjointed. If it weren't for the heat on the finish, I'd hold out hope that the wine would continue to integrate and develop, but I think the the alcohol will always overpower the rest of this wine, and that gap will continue to widen. With food (particularly something a little rich and fatty) this would probably be significantly better. Still, time to drink 'em.
