Yes. Pre ABInBev, and so beautifully knit together right now. Can't imagine this improving much from here, but it's in no hurry to drink. Always was my favorite vintage for this sour.

Exuberant fruit at the moment, which is fun. I suspect that with a little more time in the bottle the fruit will pull back and more of the savory and textural aspects of Trousseau will show through, which will make this more interesting to me. Pure pleasure now, tho.

5/17/2015 3:08:00 PM - The Metras wines are, thankfully, a little easier to get hold of here. I had the 2011 Moulin-a-vent recently and it was incredible. Thankfully most people in England dont really understand how good Beaujolais can be,
5/17/2015 1:29:00 AM - Seems like we have similar palates with regards to French wines. Can't beat a good Beaujolais. Glad to see you like the Lappiere Morgon - great wine. I find the Yvon Metras Beaujolais are even better.
