Deep gold color in the glass. Nose ws tropical fruits, nuts/almonds, petrol, honey. Palate was tropical fruits, peach, pineapple, orange zest, butterscotch, integrated oak, stone/mineral.
Given mixed experiences with the regular 06 Chardonnay from Kongsgaard, this held up well. Would drink this soon, will not improve and may be moving to a tertiary phase. A well made California Chardonnay that has aged gracefully. This bottle not worth the premium price
