Saturday, November 26, 2011 - Rich lemon hue. Closed on the nose, even after airing. Lemon zest, late harvest fruit, nuts, slatey minerality. Big, rich and intense on the palate. Good stony acid stucture, lot of muscles around it, in the way of a Wachau smaragd. Quite high alcohol, bitter finish, not very elegant. A disappointment tonight, and we're obviously trying it too early. Wait at least three years, and pair it with a schnitzel.
