Friday, December 24, 2010 - Medium density orangy brown red with orange limb. Nose is perky cooked red berries. THis is a viscous wine, thick in the mouth. Rasberries, cranberries, dark cherries, yet a creamy mouthfeel. Fortunately the acids balance the heavy, creamy, cooked characters. Finish is longish with figs and red berries with some tartness to the sides of the tongue. A heavy wine for a heavy meal.
