Saturday, March 28, 2009 - Very dark purple with a red meniscus. I get a little bit of high alcohol on the nose with primarily blackberry, cassis with a slight undertone of blueberry on both the nose and flavor. Very smooth and round with surprisingly resolved tannins. Ripe and really indicative of Napa cult wine for me but very enjoyable, not generally my style but I am scoring it for the style not my palate.
