Monday, March 16, 2020 - I coravined the first two glasses last week, then opened the remaining 1/2 bottle yesterday for a glass, and gassed before drinking the last two glasses tonight. Notes are from tonight's glass. This is drinking very smoothly right now, with red current, cranberry, tobacco leaf and hints of sandalwood, lithe juicy acidity and smooth tannins. An elegant, restrained style of claret, that continued to develop complexity with air, where the tannins also clamp down on the finish. I think this needs another 5-10 years to peak, but I am not sure this will ever be a great wine.
