Thursday, August 24, 2017 - Hard to say which is my favourite style , kabinett or spatlese. Certainly when young, its the Kabinett, with its gentle alochol and off dry nature. Some can be too sweet, but here its perfect. 9% alcohol, bags of fruit, refreshing acidity, touch of CO2, screw cap. Served with a prawn cocktail at the start of the wedding dinner, its a wine that could be drunk all night and all thru the next day as well. Should have bought more.
