Friday, June 17, 2022 - PNP. Pristine cork, moderate sediment. Accidentally bought these at auction thinking it was the Cabernet. Apparently this is a fairly rare bottling of merlot. Flavors of nicely aged claret, red fruit, bit of roasted tomato, more savory. Silky tannins, enough acidity, medium body. 13.5% ABV. Still has life, but time to drink up.
