Friday, December 31, 2010 - Sitting on several of these from the JJB sale and couldn't resist checking in on one. Pale straw color. Sweet tropical fruit & floral nose. Not detecting any sulfur. Palate is sweet, with sugar cane, macerated pears, nectarines, transitions through a steely/petrol flavor on the midpalate, and finishes very long with tropical fruits lingering with minerals. The wine seems perfectly in balance with just enough acidity, although we found it a bit sweet for the spicy Thai food pairing.
