93 Points

Friday, September 30, 2016 - Very good but in a slightly softer, more feminine, style than I anticipated. The only real hint of age is some petrol on the nose. Initially this had a predominant note of baked apple pie, but with time, it became progressively more infused with Rainier Cherry and cream notes, which are nicely balanced by a fair degree of acid. A complex wine with constantly shifting flavors and it comes across much more fruity than sweet. This is fine to drink now, but I think this concentration of fruit, acid and a bit of sugar with ensure a long life.
