Saturday, January 16, 2021 - Delicious if not sweet for a Spatlese; thinking this must have been what old auslese tasted like. Opened at fridge temp, poured out glass, and let the bottle warm up for a few hours. Wine was perfect just slightly below room temp and is drinking well if not young. Lots of fruit but enough acidity to balance. Was expecting but didn't get any petrol. I'd say it's just entering it's very long drinking window but can cellar for at least 10 more years.
