95 Points

Friday, February 17, 2012 - Light gold. Effusive aromatics of white flowers, ripe lemons and lightly roasted nuts. Medium- to full-bodied in the mouth, with citrus, pear, powdered stone and a hint of oak on the palate. Finishes very long, with a whiplash of minerals and powerful acidity. A thoroughly seductive wine, even in this early stage of its development, with cashmere-like texture and near Grand-Cru weight and depth of flavors. Will improve with a few years of cellaring.
