Wednesday, August 15, 2012 - Don't think I've ever seen such a wide assortment of CT tasting notes on a Pinot before....Wasn't sure what to expect as a result. The nose is cherry and a touch of something floral, and a little acetone (not enough to really overpower, but enough to be a little off-putting). Cherry, berry on the palate. Definitely more tannin than usual for a Pinot - which isn't bad, just different. Generally a round, fruity, long, pleasing finish, once you get used to the tannin being there. Nice, but not exactly a classic Pinot.
