Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - double blind. it was easy to pick up the american oak component, which imparted strong vanilla to me, and the wine was lovely as a total package. very elegant and smooth tannin. seemingly always a crowd favorite, but not as lush as a bottle tasted late last year.
