Tuesday, August 17, 2021 - Opened anticipating a dead wine, but still lively. Garnet, some caramel notes, but more impressive was the pencil lead, cedar, plum, still with a sweetness (not sugar, but fruit), long finish, because I thought I would need to pour it out, only had one glass on day one. Amazingly, over the next three days, increased in complexity and maintained a sweet fruit core.
