Sunday, June 28, 2015 - I had a couple '05s recently that were underwhelming, but this one is the real deal. No signs of age. Big nose - black fruits and a hints of leather and vanilla. All black and blue fruits on the palate. Not particularly complex, but this is about yumminess, not analysis. Huge fruit and serious viscosity lead to a very nice, long finish. My wife, who'd never heard the phrase "Rutherford Dust", said the finish was "dusty", and indeed it was. Textbook.
