Friday, January 27, 2023 - Cork and wax in pristine shape. Pours a beautiful light red. Elegant nose of layered plums and raspberries with hints of undergrowth and dry tree bark. More raspberry on the palate, along with an enjoyable funky umami note. Out of the bottle this shows bright and acid-forward, but with additional air it shows more warmth and depth, with more black cherry fruit. Just a hint of astringency on the finish keeps the score from going higher.
