Sunday, August 22, 2010 - Fantastic. Decanted for two hours, and was more than enough time. Fruit initial was very strong with pungent nose of berries (blackberries), cassis, oak and spice. The mid-pallet was persistent and powerful with a quadrant of balance with acid, fruit, tannins, and length. This wine is much better than three years ago-it is showing its true character. Depth and meaning with a 25 second finish. Not a Harlan, but giving it a go on the right paremeters.
